The 4th of July (US Independence Day) celebration is great time to enjoy the warm weather and festivities. Thousands of Michigan Indian community members travel to tourist attractions around the country. Sault Ste. Marie, Common destinations include Mackinac Island, Cedar Point in Ohio, Pittsburg (famous SV Temple), Mammoth Caves in Kentucky, Outlet Shopping at Birch Run and Howell, Silver Lake Sand Dunes in West Michigan and of course Niagara Falls. With millions of motorists on the road AAA cautions drivers to be careful and not be distracted by co passengers or your cell phone.
