Belgrade, Dec 18 (IANS) Russian wrestlers claimed four freestyle gold medals on the penultimate day of the Individual World Cup being held in Serbia, according to United World Wrestling.

Russia's Razambek Zhamalov, 2019 U23 world champion, on Thursday came from behind to stun two-time world champion Frank Chamizo of Italy 4-2 and earn the 74kg freestyle gold medal, reports Xinhua news agency.

Zhamalov secured his victory with only two seconds remaining by scoring a two-point action after slipping behind Chamizo.

Russia's other gold medals on Thursday came from Zavur Uguev in the 57kg category, Alikhan Zhabrailov in the 92kg category and Shamil Sharipov in the 125kg cateogry.

Magomedmurad Gadzhiev won a gold for Poland as he came through to win the title at 70kg by injury default over 2020 European bronze medalist Haydar Yavuz of Turkey.
